Thank you for taking the time to view my resume.

Below are three recent projects that highlight my skills and experience in online learning. For other graphic design and instructional design projects, please go to www.jaredmarcum.com. Enjoy!
Online SeminaryTo provide a better learning experience for home study seminary students, in 2007 Seminaries and Institutes began providing online courses for these students. This online seminary campus houses dozens of classes and utilizes local volunteer teachers. It is designed in the Moodle open source environment. As part of the core development team, I designed and developed the site.
Scripture Mastery ActivitiesAs part of my Master's degree I designed and developed a memorization activity for seminary students. After presenting the final product to the curriculum team for Seminaries and Institutes, they decided to produce the activity, along with two other activities for finding and studying selected scripture verses. I designed and developed all three activities and used Flash to create them.
Online Resources TutorialIn recent years Seminaries and Institutes has put more and more teaching resources online. Also, other church departments and institutions provide many useful resources for teachers. However, many teachers do not know where these resources are to be found. To help teachers find these resources, the media director asked that I produce a tutorial to lead instructors step by step where these resources were to be found. I developed this tutorial using Flash and Camtasia.
